Abbott Machine Company offers the following services for the Farrel and other Roll Grinders:


Machine Rebuilding

Machines will be brought back to their original working condition and tolerances. Worn parts will be replaced as required.

Customer Services

Machine Installations, Operator Training, Warranty Service, Emergency Service, Phone Assistance, Preventative Maintenance Programs, Realignment and accuracy verification with or without laser, Field Service.

Remanufacturing

Complete remanufacturing includes a comprehensive rebuild of all machine components and an upgrade in capabilities beyond the ability of the original machine. Various gauging systems, electronic wheel balancing, coolant systems are available.

Retrofitting

Older machines are fitted with new state of the art CNC controls, servos, and spindle drives. Controls available are GE/Fanuc, or Allen Bradley. Field retrofits are also available for Herkules, Waldrich, and Voith machines. Windows based graphical programming greatly simplifies operator input.

Component Rebuilding and Replacement Parts

Rebuilding of spindle assemblies, valve bodies, transmissions, equalizer drives, work rests, journal rests, lubrication systems. Replacement parts from large inventory of serviceable used parts. New parts available for Farrel machines. Some components are available on an exchange basis to reduce downtime.
